Getting to know us Part I

I'm new at this, obviously, so here it goes. I'm going to introduce us one at a time so in the future you'll understand a little better why things are so funny to us.
I was born in Tacoma, Washington on October 26, 1989 at 11:04 am (in a hospital that was only one story to prepare for quick evacuation in case the Japanese attacked!). I have lived in quite a few states. However, I did manage to spend most of my time growing up in the south. From Arizona, to Georgia to my final growing place Clarksville, Tennessee.  My dad was in the army for over 20 years. My parents are originally from New York, so the Yankee and Southern accents sort of cancelled themselves out with me. I have an older sister, Heidi Burns married to Paul with 3 beautiful children, Paul Jr, Ryan, and EmmaLynn. She has one semester left before obtaining a bachelors in teaching.
My older brother is Erich Roney, he is currently engaged to Jen Carter. He served in Iraq and is going to become a doctor. And he plays one mean guitar!
My little sister, Marisa Loman, has many dreams and aspirations and is simply trying to survive being an army wife to her husband Eric. Sorry I don't have a picture of the two of them.

Here's my mom and dad, I love them! They've been married since March 27, 1982. They've known each other since they can even remember. When they got married, my mom was only 16 years old and my dad was 22 and had been in the army for a couple years already. 16!!! And they're still together and going strong!
Quick shout out to the best photographer ever! Stella Dolce Photography, Niki Cardwell took the most wonderful photos at our ring ceremony in Clarksville, TN, to include the above picture.

So that's my family, now on to me! I love animals, always have. So I am currently studying for my associates at BYU-I in veterinary technology. Graduation should be July 2012. How exciting! I did go to college in Tennessee, Austin Peay State University where I studied to be a nurse, but animals are much more exciting.

I'm not a morning person, never really have been. (Even though Michael tries to tell me different.)

There was a point in my life where I had braces and glasses. Man, the things that can do to your self esteem! SO, I decided it'd be better to be gothic. Bad idea... but I thought I was awesome.

It's really not a good look for me :( and the reason this is the only picture I have from the 7th to 9th grade!

I thought this picture was cute. Definitely 90's!

Some random facts I'm pretty proud of, I graduated in the top 5%. I was the only freshman ever at APSU to be granted the Presidential Research Scholarship. I love to cook, but when I do, I cook enough for an army! We're still working on chicken pot pie leftovers from the 5th! I don't have any allergies to anything. We have 2 little doggies. Teddy has been with my since he was born in 2007. He is half German Shepherd and half Pomeranian. Crazy, I know, but he's beautiful!
he hates car rides

he likes to swim!
We visited my family in TN for Thanksgiving and Blondie, my mom's dog and Teddy's sister had had a litter of puppies in September. This little guy chose us and we couldn't let him down! He's about a quarter of the size of Teddy, but pure bred Pom. He has a fierce little growl and sure doesn't take it easy on anybody while he's playing!
On a side note, that red toy is a rubber squeaky lady bug.
It is quite possibly the creepiest toy ever!!!

I like to scrap book and I absolutely love to play soccer. I was MVP of my high school team, played intramurals at APSU and played in a city league in Idaho Falls last summer.
Soccer in TN is SO much fun in the humidity!

Another important part of who I am is my religion. I had studied a few and went for a long time to a Methodist church. Finally found a church that best fit my beliefs and one where I knew I was supposed to be.  I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on January 14, 2006. Three days later, I met Michael, but that's a different story.
